Opera Mobile 10.1 beta now available for Nokia Smartphones

Opera_256x256It seems Opera team is working hard on their mobile web browsers (Opera Mini, Opera Mobile). Just yesterday Opera Mini 5.1 was made available for Android too after the the special version for low-end devices and today Opera team has released the first beta of Opera Mobile 10.1 for Nokia Smartphones based on Symbian/S60, 3rd and 5th editions.

Dag Olav Norem, Vice President, Mobile Products at Opera Software says, “Opera Mobile 10.1 beta is a new upgrade, including the latest rendering technologies to boost browsing performance on Symbian Series 60 phones”. “Millions of people already use Opera Mobile on their Nokia Series 60 phones and we hope many of them will help us test this new beta.”

Along with all the Opera Mobile 10 goodness, like Speed Dial, unique multi-tab experience, Opera Link, password manager, virtual keyboard, kinetic scrollling, auto-rotation to landscape, Opera turbo making mobile browsing a lot more easier, faster and fun, you get a updated Opera core, many bug fixes, latest version of the powerful Presto rendering engine, Vega graphics library and Carakan JavaScript in Opera Mobile beta.

Another notable new feature of Opera Mobile beta is Geolocation which actually “puts you and your mobile on the map, so that web services such as maps and travel applications can offer you tailored, relevant content.” and of course Opera does care about your privacy so “you decide if and when Opera Mobile will share your location.”
