How to Enable Visual Tab Switcher in Firefox 3.6 [Video]

Firefox 3.6 has a number of new features; some of them are enabled and some are hidden inside. One of them is Visual Tab Switcher that lets you toggle through all the open Tabs. It is identical to Windows 7 Alt + Tab utility. Here is how you can enable it.

1. Enter about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click on the confirmation button.
2. Search for browser.ctrlTab.previews in the filter box.
3. Click browser.ctrlTab.previews twice or right click on it and select toggle. The value will change from false to true.
4. Restart Firefox.
5. For testing purpose open some tabs in Firefox and use Ctrl + Tab to toggle between them. You will see a Windows 7 Alt + Tab like window.
